Indoor Hockey
Perthshire currently fields 2 ladies and 1 men’s indoor hockey teams.
Mens Indoor
Having not fielded any men’s indoor teams for the past 2 years the men have rejoined National Indoor League in the Regional division. Players are typically taken from the outdoor 1s team with matches taking place in December and January at the Douglas Sports Centre in Dundee.
The U16 and U18 squads also take part in national indoor competitions within their age group.
Ladies Indoor
The ladies 1s play National League Division 3 indoor hockey with games at Meadowmill. The squad is a mix of experienced players and younger players showing promise and the desire to progress their game indoors.
The ladies 2s play Midlands Development League on Tuesday evenings at Douglas Sports centre. The team is a mix of younger and senior players depending on the quality of the opposition. Where possible less experienced players are given the opportunity to learn the indoor game and progress their skills.
